Face it. The NFL is going to expand to 34 teams sooner than later. It’s not because Roger Goodell is a greedy control-freak, but more a result of the NFL’s popularity and the desire to meet the needs of football starved cities across the globe.

If adding a couple teams is successful, we’re potentially looking at a total of 40 NFL teams in the next 10-20 years. Here are the cities most likely in consideration for expansion teams in the next decade.
