February 1, 2009 – Super Bowl XLIII vs Cardinals

Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald had just connected for a huge touchdown to take the lead. Everyone thought the Arizona Cardinals just pulled off one of the biggest Cinderella stories in NFL history, winning the first Super Bowl in franchise history. Not so fast! Ben Roethlisberger drove the Steelers down the field to connect with Santonio Holmes for a 6-yard touchdown pass with 35 seconds to go.

    WOW! All sorts of overrated catches on this list especially #1 and #2, “The Catch” is not as good as it seems David Tyree’s catch IS NOT THAT GOOD overrated. Eli Manning gets so much crap when David Tyree never would have even had he chance for the catch if it weren’t for him escaping the pocket. Where’s Brent Grimes? Catches should be based on how good the catch is not how much of an effect it has on the game. The helmet catch wasn’t even that good, i did the exact same thing in one of my middle school games, yet no one cares because this was the freakin super bowl. Tryree’s catch totally changed that game, but it belongs on a different list. Sorry NFL
