Top-12 Rated Rookies in Madden 15

By on July 22, 2014

EA Sports released the rookie ratings for Madden 15. The #1 overall pick, Jadeveon Clowney, is the highest rated player from the draft class but it is always interesting to see what Madden Rating czar @Donny_Moore thinks of the rest of the first round picks from the 2014 NFL Draft.

Madden 15 comes with new features such as a Halftime Show and upgraded presentation by NFL Films, 80 hours of new commentary ( sorry, still by Phil Simms), and even 3D grass.

Check back soon at for a final update of all the new Madden features and what you can really expect from that 3D grass. Don’t let Josh Gordon hear about it… #TooSoon?

With a 94 PMV( Power Moves) trait right out of the box, Clowney is going to be an absolute beast in Madden 15. This year’s game will have a new defensive engine and style of play that will put a great emphasis on user-controlling Clowney in Madden 15.

The 88 SPD (Speed) is also stupid-fast for a player of his size.

Scouts may question his effort in real life (and you more than likely will have to upgrade him with XP (Experience Points) for the “High Motor” trait) but you won’t have to question him in Madden because these are once in a generation rookie attributes in the Madden Series.

The 65 AWR (Awareness*) (*not shown on image) is lame, but expected for a rookie with such physical intangibles as Clowney. He also comes with 69 STA (Stamina*), so he’ll be hard to keep on the field if you push him too hard early on.
