As reported by USA Today, Johnny Manziel is not believed to be holding personal workouts for teams, including the team with the #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft:

Asked if Manziel would work out for the Texans afterward, O’Brien said during Tuesday’s AFC coaches’ breakfast, “I don’t think so. He’s got his Johnny Day.”

“Johnny Day” is likely O’Brien referring to the Pro Day Manziel will be holding on Thursday, but it doesn’t come across as though the Texans coach is impressed with the off-the-field antics of Johnny Football.

O’Brien went on to give his evaluation of Manziel and his performance against Ole Miss when he hurt his ankle and was forced to stay in the pocket, describing him as “sustainable,” whatever that’s supposed to mean…

  • Mike O Smith

If Bill O’Brien really thinks that then he is a idiot………………. sustainable is about the stupidest thing anyone could say about Johnny.

  • M. Villela

I wouldn’t believe anything until Draft day. O’Brien is smart, if Manziel is Texans material then we’ll get him. Coach O’Brien said himself you cant judge a qb from a college game or from a loss. Whatever the case, I’m sure whomever they choose, it’ll be a real good one. GO TEXANS!
