Top 10 Most Overpaid Players in the NFL

#8 - Redskins OLB, Brian Orakpo

2014 Base Salary: $11,455,000 (12th Highest in NFL; Highest among Outside Linebackers)

Appearing in only 7 games under the Redskins Franchise Tag before season-ending pectoral injury, Brian Orakpo was not producing for the Redskins defense that depended on his pass rush. He totaled a half of a sack (0.5), 24 total tackles, and one pass defensed in 2014. Orakpo, unlikely to see the Franchise Tag again, is looking at a huge pay cut in 2015 due to the fact that he has not played a full season of action since 2011.
