3 Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater

1) Louisville Teddy Bridgewater

Height: 6’2″

Weight: 214 pounds

40 Yard Dash: Louisville Pro Day - 4.78

NFL Comparison: Drew Brees

Although Johnny Football Fever has taken over, Bridgewater has been the #1 pro prospect at QB for over a year. What puts him above the rest of the QB prospects in the 2014 NFL Draft is his football IQ. He was also trusted with running the offense at Louisville, a rare responsibility for college QBs.

Bridgewater is a tough leader who is being criticized for his poor Pro Day and slight frame. Some scout even said his “knees are too small,” whatever that means. Bridgewater does need to put on some more muscle, but that will come with time in an NFL weightroom.

A team is going to benefit greatly from the NFL Draft being the most over-analyzed process in professional sports when he falls into their lap.

Put Teddy Bridgewater down as the safest pro QB prospect in the 2014 NFL Draft.
