#6 - Antonio Freeman Game Winning Catch in OT
November 6, 2000 - Monday Night Football vs Vikings
Brett Favre was being his gunslinger self and throws it deep to Antonio Freeman. Al Michaels was calling the game and just assumed it fell incomplete when the ball started bouncing around. It took a replay to confirm, but Freeman clearly doesn’t allow the ball to hit the ground. The Vikings defenders were so late to react, that Freeman was able to get up and run it in for a touchdown in overtime on Monday Night Football.

WOW! All sorts of overrated catches on this list especially #1 and #2, “The Catch” is not as good as it seems David Tyree’s catch IS NOT THAT GOOD overrated. Eli Manning gets so much crap when David Tyree never would have even had he chance for the catch if it weren’t for him escaping the pocket. Where’s Brent Grimes? Catches should be based on how good the catch is not how much of an effect it has on the game. The helmet catch wasn’t even that good, i did the exact same thing in one of my middle school games, yet no one cares because this was the freakin super bowl. Tryree’s catch totally changed that game, but it belongs on a different list. Sorry NFL
