The Bengals battled back from 17-0 against their AFC North rivals, the Baltimore Ravens and needed a Hail Mary to send the game into overtime. The Ravens DBs showed “what-NOT-to-do” in this scenario as A.J. Green patiently waited in the back for the tipped ball to fall in his hands. This play quickly becomes obsolete as the Bengals eventually lose in overtime, but it’s still one of the best Hail Mary catches in NFL history. The Bengals became the first team in NFL history to hit a 50+ yard Hail Mary and lose.
