Top 15 Running Backs in 2014 NFL Draft
2. Baylor Lache Seastrunk - 5′ 9 1/2″ 201 lbs
Seastrunk was a very highly touted High School recruit and transferred from Oregon after redshirting in 2010 to join the explosive Baylor offense. His speed, agility, and even the way he holds the ball when he runs is similar to LeSean McCoy. Seastrunk has that home-run hitter mentality and want to break the big one every time he touches the ball.
NFL coaches will need to teach him to go down when the yards aren’t there because he took too many 3-5 yard losses trying to run sideline to sideline looking for the hole. He was playing behind an inconsistent offensive line at Baylor, but 2nd & 11 is much better than 2nd & 15.
NFL Comparison: LeSean McCoy
Here is the game film of Lache Seastrunk vs West Virginia in 2013 where he had 15 carries for 172 yards and 2 TDs, courtesy of DraftBreakdown.com
