Cleveland Browns Banner

The Browns have been so bad since their return to the NFL, that a movie has been made about them (Draft Day). Rumors have surfaced about their infatuation with Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel on multiple accounts. Reports of the Browns not attending his pro day confused fans and analysts everywhere, even though a private workout was scheduled. Typically, pre-draft rumors have been used as smokescreens, but the Browns have been such a dysfunctional franchise that it appears they are just struggling to “play the game.” Manziel is the star that the Browns need and they will take a chance on the biggest boom-or-bust prospect since Tim Tebow.Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel Edit

After a throwback Raider-offseason of signing 30-somethings and trading for veteran Texans QB, Matt Schaub, some young and explosive playmakers are desperately needed in Oakland. If Clemson WR Sammy Watkins makes it to pick #5, Matt Schaub himself should run to the podium to make this pick. If the Raiders stay conservative (try not to laugh), Texas A&M LT Jake Matthews could be an option to shore up an inconsistent offensive line.Clemson WR Sammy Watkins

Atlanta Falcons Banner

The Falcons fell back down to earth in 2013 and are currently in an overhaul of their defense to transition from a 4-3 to a 3-4 under defensive coordinator Mike Nolan. Jadeveon Clowney said his dream scenario would be for the Falcons to trade up for him, and that becomes a realistic possibility if the Texans go with a QB #1 overall. Although, they would be better off not lowering their number of picks in a draft stocked with talent and allowing Buffalo DE/OLB Khalil Mack to fall to them at #6. Adding an explosive pass rusher like Mack would complete the defensive transition and allow the Falcons to be a more complete team heading into the 2014 season.9 Buffalo OLB DE Khalil Mack

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Banner

Lovie Smith has completed an overhaul of the Buccaneers roster with lots of talent that fits his scheme. The position they neglected to fill with a veteran became even more glaring after trading WR Mike Williams to the Bills. Unless they make a move to trade up and get Sammy Watkins, selecting Texas A&M WR Mike Evans here creates a duo similar to the Bears combination of Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery.Texas A&M WR Mike Evans

Minnesota Vikings Banner

After reaching on QB Christian Ponder, the Vikings could have one of the top QBs fall to them at #8. UCF QB Blake Bortles would be a great fit for the Vikings offense as he would be offered to opportunity to sit and watch veteran Matt Cassel. Bortles would greatly benefit from sitting to refine his technique before taking over after a few games once Cassel started playing like…Cassel.4 UCF QB Blake Bortles
