Top Rated Players by Position in Madden 15

MiddleLinebackers

49ers MLB Patrick Willis

Having 90 SPD/88 STR/95 TAK/97 PUR/97 HPW at MLB is unheard of, unless your name is Patrick Willis. Willis could play any position on the field in Madden 15 and dominate with those numbers.

49ers MLB Navorro Bowman

Quick, go reorder your depth chart and your opponent will never know that Navorro Bowman is supposed to be out with an injury. Once Bowman returns from injury, the 49ers will have the two highest rated Middle Linebackers in Madden 15. Bowman is a tackling machine with 99 TAK . The problem is that once you move into a pass defense, Bowman is the first guy subbed out for more players in the secondary. Mess around with the substitutions and find a way that fits your style of defense to move Bowman into a spot on the defensive line: 98 PUR/83 PMV/95 Block Shed.

Panthers MLB Luke Kuechly

Luke Kuechly has everything you are going to ask for from your MLB in Madden 15: 99 TAK/99 PUR/99 PRC (Play Recognition). Kuechly is going to develop quickly to 99 OVR in a connected career.

Chiefs MLB Derrick Johnson

The Chiefs defense was underrated to begin 2013 and by the time everyone knew they were a solid defense, they fell off as a group. Their defensive players will still benefit in Madden15 from the early dominance and Derrick Johnson has been a steady veteran over the course of his Chiefs career: 85 SPD/85 AGI/90 ACC/93 AWR/94 TAK/98 PUR

Patriots MLB Jerrod Mayo

Jerrod Mayo has safety cover skills (81 ZCV/87 SPD) in a MLB body. Don’t be afraid to run some zone in your base defense, because he can make up for the other LBs lack of coverage skills.

______

Outside Linebackers

Broncos OLB Von Miller

Von Miller is back from injury and maintains the 88 SPD and 94 ACC that has made him a pass rushing monster. With 92 TAK and 97 FMV, Miller and DeMarcus Ware should make the Broncos defense as impressive as their offensive counterpart.

49ers OLB Aldon Smith

Luckily, Aldon Smith can’t get arrested in Madden 15, so you will be able o fully take advantage of his 85 SPD/96 ACC/99 PMV/ 97 PUR.

Chiefs OLB Justin Houston

Justin Houston should be able to ward off 1st round rookie, Dee Ford, with his 93 TAK/97 PMV/93 BLK SHD. Try moving him to DE and watch his OVR skyrocket to almost 99 OVR.

Buccaneers OLB Lavonte David

Lavonte David is the best 4-3 OLB in the league right now and deserves more respect than a 93 OVR rating. With 88 SPD/88 AGI/90 ACC/98 TAK/98 PUR/96 PRC, David is a rare player at his position in the NFL. He compares to Navorro Bowman, but lacks the size for MLB in a 3-4.

Colts OLB Robert Mathis

Mathis faces a 4-game suspension and could be due for a huge ratings drop if his play suffers after being busted for PED use. Start a career before his suspension to take advantage of his 88 SPD/94 ACC/98 FMV before age takes him down a notch.
