Top 10 Most Overpaid Players in the NFL

By on November 26, 2014

#5 - Chiefs WR, Dwayne Bowe

2014 Base Salary: $8,235,294 (4th Highest among Wide Receivers; 26th Highest in NFL)

Dwayne Bowe was one of the up-and-coming Wide Receivers in the NFL when Andy Reid came to town and signed a very lucrative contract. Reid also brought a real NFL QB to town and common logic would assume that his production would only increase. After catching 15 touchdowns in 2010, Bowe is still searching for his first touchdown catch of the season. Fortunately for Bowe he gets a raise to $10,750,000 in 2015, regardless of his performance this season.
