#4 - RB Ki-Jana Carter

Picked 1st Overall in the 1995 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals

Career Stats:

319 carries

1,144 rushing yards

20 TDs

The Bengals traded with the expansion Panthers for the #1 overall pick to select the Penn State All American running back, Ki-Jana Carter. Injuries derailed what was viewed as a very promising career. In his rookie year, he tore a ligament in his knee on his 3rd carry of his 1st preseason game. A torn rotator cuff in 1997, a broken wrist in 1998, and a dislocated kneecap in 1999 prevented Carter from the chance to show the NFL what could have been.
